While we are still practicing social distancing, wearing masks, sanitizing, etc. the shop is humming along. The framing as been busy since the re-start (and thank you for that!). Obtaining some of fabrics and fibers is still an ongoing challenge but I will keep ordering until the distributors are able to get things back in stock.

As far as the notifications I’ve received from With Thy Needle & Thread, it looks like our Coming To America, Women Of The Mayflower stitching experience is still on track for things to start shipping mid-August. The challenge begins on September 6th and runs for 66 days (the length of time that they were at sea). If you are participating, please share your progress with others online, since it does’t look as if we will be able to gather as a group for show and tell.

Also, the Autumn Stitching Weekend is still being planned. If we have to make pandemic accommodations, then that is what we will do. However, if it seems unwise at that point, we will cancel again.

The shop will be CLOSED on September 5th, 6th, and 7th for Labor Day weekend so be sure to pick up your WTNT kits before then. I will announce on Facebook and Instagram when they have arrived.

Happy Stitching, Jan
