February 2018

Monthly Newsletter While winter comes and goes we are looking toward spring events that will be taking place. Since spring officially starts in March (except in CNY where it starts after Mother’s Day) we will be hosting a Market Party for the Nashville Market releases on Wednesday, March 14th. The following weekend is our annual Stitching Friends Retreat. We will have a trunk show in April featuring our retreat teacher’s work-Summerhouse Stitche Workes. And then its May and time for our annual Needlework Exhibit. Everyone is encouraged to participate by bringing in completed needlework pieces to be displayed in the hallway of the Canal Barn for the month. Patrons of the barn’s tenants can vote for their favorite piece. The stitcher with the most votes will receive a gift certificate to the shop. This is a chance for us to demonstrate the talent possessed by all of you to the public. Think ahead to what you’d like to display (multiple entries are fine) and be ready to drop them off at the shop in late April. Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Stitching, Jan
